There is only one band. One amazing, historical music group that transcends all the barriers and limits that others hit-that one band is the Beatles. And their best was their last commercially released album-Abbey Road.
Abbey Road was released last in the Beatles catalog, but it was not recorded last, that was Let It Be. They put this album out to commercial and critical success, and it defiently deserves all the credit it was given then and now.
My favorite song on this album is "You don't give me your money", this song focuses on-at its core level-a dispute with the Beatles and their management who were not giving them the funds they felt they had worked to deserve. It is an angry but fun song-basically-it shows their passion.
I also love the song "The End". The last song on the album, it features an awesome drum solo by Ringo Starr-busting out the drums like it is the last song he will do as a Beatle. THe last lyric brings togther what the group was all about, and what they do best...
"And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make."
That says it all.

It does not get any better than this. The Beatles, have with stood the test of time.
I like how the last half of the album flows from one song into the next. But it makes me sad to listen to it too often because I know it was the last album ever released. :(
This was my all time favorite Beatles album. The music ranged from sad to angry without missing a beat. This is vintage Beatles at the peak of their game.
