The Beatles Anthology is the Holy Grail for any Beatles fanatic. It is a huge book of the Beatles in their own words. Sprinkled throughout the book are numerous never before seen photographs of the Beatles and their lives.

The book begins with each Beatle detailing their own birth and their childhood. It of course all comes together with how the Beatles came together as a band. It is so fascinating to hear about their lives in post-war Britain and how so many things of their childhoods, shaped their lives and music.

The book goes on to detail every aspect of their careers as Beatles up until the time of their breakup. This book leaves no detail behind and chronicles everything. For the casual fan, this may be too much, but I loved every word of it.

Adding quite a bit to the book are the great pictures. To see in pictures what the book is detailing is great.

I love this book and when I first got it, I read it cover to cover in a matter of about a week. I was captivated from start to finish.
