"The Beatles" is the only text that appears on a slate white background on this Beatles double disk album that has been dubbed "The White Album." I think the simple design looks really cool and is one of my favorite album covers along with Abbey Road. The first disk starts off with Paul McCartney's "Back In The USSR" and continues with the John Lennon song "Glass Onion," which he combines titles and lyrics from many other songs to confuse the listeners. "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" is possibly George Harrison's finest piece of work. This is one of my favorite songs ever, I really love everything about it. It is followed by the strange "Happiness Is A Warm Gun." The highlights on the second disk include "Helter Skelter," "Sexy Sadi," and the infamous "Revolution 9," which is probably the only Beatles song I actually hate. It is filled with white noise and all kinds of crazy different things that I personally cn not stand. The White Album boasts some good hit music, but I don't think it is as powerful as Abbey Road or Sergent Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band.
