The Best Cordless Phone In My Experience. By Risa Attrell on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I had been going through a very annoying time with cordless phones. No matter which kind of cordless phone we bought, there was this very annoying static, which made it difficult to talk to anyone. We weren't sure if it was the phone itself, or maybe there was something wrong with the wiring in our house. Like I said, we tried a number of cordless phones, and each one had a problem with static. We finally bought this AT&T Dual Hanset Cordless phone. We've had it for a while now, and the sound is clear, with no static at all.

It comes with two bases and two handsets, and there is an intercome botton so you can call the other handset and speak to a family member across the house. It has an easy to use caller ID display, and directory. There is also a mute button, a redial button, and a button to put it on speaker phone.

One of the features that i like is that with other phones, if you want to look up someone's phone number on the caller ID, and dial directly from the caller ID, it doesn't work if it's a long distance call and you have to put a 1 infront of the number. With this phone, you can look up the number on the caller ID, and all you have to do is add the number 1, click the 'phone' button to turn it on and it will start dialing.
