The Best Of Chemistry By chops3c on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

When chemistry is taught at a school level, there is now better way than using the Ebbing Gammon General Chemistry book. I am in a high school Chemistry class and I have found this book very useful. It explains things well, and it has great practice problems. I found that it is set up very well. This book is hard for independent learning. I have found that it is better to have a teacher introduce the topic, and then use the book to expand your knowledge. I really think that this is one of the best books out there. I would recommend this to any student desiring more knowledge, or to any teacher that wants to enlighten his or her students. When teaching any subject I find that it is best to have a teacher teach it, then a book reinforcing the subject. This book is great for that.
