The Best Of The Dean Martin Variety Show By Karen on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My mother-in-law gave me Volumes one and two of "The Best of the Dean Martin Variety Show" on DVD. Remember this show? Dean would sing a few songs, have special guest stars, and do some comedy skits. It was a nice show, and these DVDs take me back to a time years ago when I used to watch this show on TV.

Each DVD runs about sixty minutes. Some of Dean's guests featured on these two DVDs are: Lucille Ball, Bill Cosby, John Wayne, Bing Crosby, Rowan and Martin, Frank Sinatra, Don Rickles, Tony Bennett, Peter Sellers, Bob Newhart, and others. It is entertaining to watch, and if you were a fan of Dean Martin, you would probably find it enjoyable to see these DVDs. I found myself getting nostalgic when I watched them. It brought back a lot of memories for me. I used to watch some of these shows with my mother, who is gone now, and seeing them again takes me back to that time when she was still with me.

All in all, Volumes one and two of "The Best of Dean Martin" are nice and entertaining.

I am sure these are fun DVDs to watch. We have a lot of them on the old radio show cassettes.
