This DVD of the movie "The Bible- In The Beginning " covers the first twenty- two chapters of Genesis in the Old Testament. The story content is dramatic and the sound quality is very good. It is in vivid color and lasts 172 minutes. George C. Scott plays the lead role of Abraham. Ava Gardner plays his wife, Sarah. Peter o'Toole plays the Angel of God. It is interesting to note that John Houston not only directs this picture but also gives an outstanding performance as Noah. I especially enjoyed this film because it holds the viewers attention and is based on a true story. I have always been captivated with the beginning stories of the Bible. Despite circumstances, Abraham never loses his great faith and trust in God. So much of the following scenes demonstrate drama, excitement, chaos and betrayal. This movie is most inspiring and should be seen by everyone.
