The Biggest Rip Off Of The Year!! By mnicole on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
This is one product i can say i would never recommend. Napster had this promotion for a one year commitment for $17.99 a month and it came with unlimited downloads and a free napster mp3 player.
It sounds like a good deal but thats all it was. Just something that sounded good. The mp3 player only could hold 50 songs on it and the battery life only lasted a hour and a half. For the first week i was ok with it but after that it started to shut off on its own. I kept on getting messages saying that the licensing was expired so it couldn't play any songs. Then it started to break, the cover came off of it along with the back, the battery was all exposed.
It was just a frustrating experience and then when i called customer service they didn't help me out. I was told to send it to them and then if they think somethings wrong with it then they would replace it. That meant i had to pay for shipping which i wasn't even going to get reimburse for it and i would still have to pay my monthly commitment with out a mp3 player to transfer all my music on.
The hold thing was a headache and i don't recommend purchasing a mp3 player from them. The music plans are alright but thats just about it.
