The Black And White Videonow Personal Video Player By comedyfan23 on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

Last year I purchased a Videonow personal video player (they call it a video player but it really plays discs that are specially made for the player). I had never heard of Videonow and did not know that the black and whites were replaced by the newer and much better color players and might as well be obsolete since most if not all stores have stopped carrying the black and white disks. The player did include one disk on the making of Agent Cody Banks 2, but I got tired of watching that immediately. It appears that the only way to aquire disks for this particular player is to purchase them on online resale sites such as Ebay and even then the choices are usually not very good.

When the Videonow player is running, you can adjust the contrast on the screen, but this does not help anything. Neither does the overhead light since it just makes a glare on the screen. The player really is not worth what I paid for it and now I wish I had just walked away from it when I first saw it.
