The Book That Got Me Into Yoga By IceQueen on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

This book was actually written like a book. Unlike most instructional books, you could actually read it cover to cover. I picked this book up from the local library because I heard it was a great read, and it was a good beginner resource for yoga. I was always interested in yoga, but the resources available where always so boring and set for a much older crowd. This book was designed for a female teen/young adult and it was written in a way that related certain aspects of yoga to a females life. It covers how yoga can take care of relationships, stress, fears, life, and your health. It made me understand why yoga was so popular. I was able to learn the basics of yoga and how to apply to my daily lifestyle. This is what got me into yoga and what honestly made me a much more relaxed person. I hear that males have read it too and enjoyed it, so pick it up and give it a chance.
