I recieved this laser printer as a gift and had never actually heard of the "Brother" brand. I needed a printer for my laptop that is compatable with Windows Vista.
I am very pleasently surprised by this printer. It sets up easily and has a very easy to follow quick start guide. The software downloads easily also. I have another PC at home that runs Windows XP and the printer that I use for this PC will not work with Vista...anyway, I am used to the printer going back and forth and printing rather slowly. This laser printer is so fast I printed the first test page twice just to see how fast it went! WOW !!

Very helpful and easy to use with very fast printing. This is a Black and White printer! Used for general printing of documents. Not for printing pictures or photos.
If you just need a simple, fast, reliable printer then, I highly recomend this one!
