I love to bake and enjoy making desserts from scratch, but it is difficult to always do this because it takes so much time. I have found the solution to be The Cake Mix Doctor cookbook. Every recipe in the cookbook uses a cake mix as the base ingredient and then you add additional ingredients to make outstanding desserts! I have made many of the recipes and everything has turned out delicious. I always get compliments on my cakes and people have even asked me if I made it from scratch. My favorite is the extrememely moist Darn Good Chocolate Cake; it is the best chocolate cake you will ever taste. There are over 150 colored pictures of the recipes you can make. Other than cake recipes you will find recipes for cookies, bars, and crisps. This cookbook will save you time, but it definitely won't give you desserts that lack in taste.
