The Chattanoogan Hotel Downtown Modern By zathras on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I recently visited The Chattanoogan Hotel for an overnight trip. First, the entrance is not well marked at all - I nearly missed it. Also, the parking garage was very difficult to navigate. It would probably be best to use the bellhop because it was a long walk with all of the suitcases. The hotel itself is very modern and features clean lines and elegant furniture in the lobby. The hotel is owned by a Japanese company, so a "lucky cat" resides on the registration counter as a sign of good luck and prosperity. The rooms were very clean and the beds included a ton of pillows. I used the spa services, conveniently located on the second floor next to guestrooms, and they were very professional, although the space was a little cramped. The breakfast buffet offered a large variety of foods and a chef was available to make waffles and omelets.
