The Chocolate War By FMSfreebiesDotCom on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The Chocolate War is a great book for young adults. This book is starting to get banned in many schools, but I do not agree with any schools decision to ban this book. There are some controversial issues in this book, but nothing a 16 or 17 year old kid doesn't already know about. With that being said, this book is a great read for pretty much anybody. It talks about a group of kids called the Vigils. They perform tasks against their school to cause havok. This book will have you hanging on to the edge of your seat throughout the whole thing. I know of an older person around the age of 45 that has read this book and he loved it, and I know many teenagers who have read it and like it as well. So if you are ever in the mood to read a book by Robert Cormier, this book should be the first on your list!
