The Chronicles of Narnia - The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, is a Disney/Walden Media movie.I found this movie to be very good, very entertaining.Four siblings happen upon a mysterious world called Narnia by walking through a wardrobe.This world is being controlled by an evil witch who has made it eternal winter, and the children strive to break the hold that the witch has over this wondrous land.
It is a good picture, has some great special effects.The story keeps you interested right up to the end.I have the full screen version, and the DVD is of high video and audio quality.It also contains some bonus features, such as bloopers, Narnia fun facts, and commentaries.The approximate run time is 135 minutes, and I think you will find this movie interesting for all of those minutes.The movie is rated PG, there are some intense moments that might be disturbing for younger children.
This movie is based on a book by C.S. Lewis.I am an avid reader, and I think I might just read the book, since I enjoyed the movie so much.I would recommend this movie as very interesting and one that keeps you riveted through the entire picture.
