The Creepiest Grinch!

I enjoyed the original The Grinch Who Stole Christmas every Christmas season when I was a kid. I loved it! It is a class's that has stood the test of time and it still loved by kids and adults of all ages even today. I was kind of excited but wary when the decided to bring my beloved childhood classic to the big screen. I thoughtmy kids would hopefully love the story as much as I did. What a HUGE mistake I made. This movies, simply put, takes a beloved story and turns it into an ugly mean-spirited tale. Although Jim Carey plays the Grinch with such animation you do begin to believe he IS the Grinch. But his story is a sad and mean one. The adorable Who's from Whoville are turned into creepy characters. There is nothing loving or adorable about them! I was truly disappointed in the movie. If you have children and you want to share the classic story of the Grinch Who Stole Christmas, do yourself and your children a favorite and stick to the original!
