The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night Time By Gayle Parks on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I received this book as a gift from a friend. I have to say it is different. It's a novel written in the voice of an Autistic teen-ager. It's a murder mystery (a dog murder actually), an end-of-innocence story, a love affair gone bad story and a comedy all wrapped up into one. It's touching and compelling too. Easy reading and a hard to put down book. It won't take long to read it because it is such a relaxed read so if you have a few hours or just a weekend with time to sit back pick up this book and enjoy a good story that will probably be very different than any other story you have ever read. I reccommend this book for all readers who are always on the look out for something new , fresh and different. Look for it in your book store or at all the usual on-line places.

This book is a must-read for anyone who knows someone who is a high-functioning autistic. This is on my list of all-time best books!
Since my oldest is a high functioning autistic, I want to read this book. I think it is important to include many many differing personality types when writing a book, be it a mystery or love story.
