This is a book in Gena Showalter's The Lords of the Underworld's series. This series is one any paranormal romance reader can appreciate.
Background: 6 warrior's possessed by demons live in a remote Budapest palace. They have managed to stay out of the way, until an enemy threatens all they are.
Story: Maddox is an immortal warrior possessed by Violence. He is cursed in many ways. He meets Ashlyn who is also battling demons of her own. He does not trust her and fears she is "bait" set out by his enemies, but he can not deny his attraction for her....
Characters: Maddox is a hunky male who happens to be possessed by a demon that likes violence and murder. Ashlyn is a likable character who understands all to well about being different.
My Opinion: I am a huge fan of Gena Showalter's and I love paranormal books so it is now surprise I love this series. Even the cover of the book is hott! I say run out and grab this book fast!!
