The Darkness is a first person shooter for the Xbox 360 game system from the makers of The Chronicles of Riddick. What do both of these games have in common? Their criminally underrated status. In The Darkness, you take the role of young mafia recruit Jackie, whoes bloodline just so happens to be attached to a dark entity older than time that survives on darkness and death. It's a good time for it, because your uncle Paulie has put a hit out on you and everyone that you love. Impressive graphics, gunplay and gore, the game also has great voice acting (From Mike Patton of Faith No More) and a storyline to scare you, shock you, and maybe even tug your heartstrings. Not for the faint of heart, only for those who wish to devour hearts. Pick this one up, at least for a rental.
