Like I've said in previous reviews, my dad and I are HUGE movie fans. And this week when we went to buy our latest movie, we chose "The Day After Tomorrow" with Dennis Quaid and Jake Gyllenhaal.
It is a fairly good movie if you enjoy 'natural disaster' and 'end of the world' type genre movies. However, I'm not a fan of them, so it was an ok movie if you only consider the suspense and actor ability.
The main theme is of the current problem our society has of Global Warming when tornados and tidal waves conquer the Northern Hemistphere in a giant storm that kills amny and injures some. But also brings together some of the most unthought of, unbeleivable people in a realationship that will forever be held together by the bond that they share from experiencing this together and apart.
Overall, it was fascinating but not something that I choose right off the top of my mind when I look for a movie of the night.

This movie was alright but it made me think that maybe this disaster could really happen if the world continues like it's going. Decent movie, really good special effects.
