The Delano Hotel, South Beach

The Delano - pronounced like the middle name of President Theodore Delano Roosevelt, is a staple of South Beach luxurious lifestyle. While terribly expensive, this hotel is the most posh accomodation in the area and definetly worth it; even just for a visit.
I stayed at the Delano a few years back and I must say it was a fantastic venu for a wonderful Miami vacation. Located in a prime location and in front of a pristine beach, this hotel is sleek, sexy and fun! While I was there having lunch one afternoon, I sat right next to Suzanne Summers. That evening the hotel hosted a private bash for the world's top DJ's, and being a hotel guest - I was invited!
The rooms at the Delano are immaculate and all white; with the exception of the lone green apple housekeeping puts in the room every day with the phrase "An apple a day keeps the doctor away!".
I certainly recommend this hotel. Its pricy, but the best way to spend a vacation in South Beach.
