My son got The Dog - Why Are Dogs' Noses Wet and Other True Facts Book about 6 months ago. He is a dog lover, but doesn't really care to read as much as he should. But this book really keeps his attention and he absolutely loves it! I am so amazed to see him actually sit and read a book by himself and then tell me and other people all about the dog facts that he learned from his book. The book gives interesting dog facts such as - Why do dogs howl? Why do dogs sniff everything? Why do dogs drool? Why do dogs dig? And so on and so on. Then it tells what breed of dogs do what the best. It really is a very neat book. Now when my son sees our dog doing something (or even the neighbor's dog) he tells us exactly why he's doing it!

This sounds like a great book for any kid who loves dogs and it got your son to read to boot.
I love children's books like this. they help a child master a bit of knowledge which empowers them to feel self confident about a topic. This in turn encourages a love of reading which is so key to a child's success larer in life.
Awww this sounds like an adorable children's book! I love dogs too and I bet it's just the cutest to hear him tell you why "Scrappy" is digging in the backyard. :o)

Yeah any book that makes a child want to read is a winner to me. This sounds so cute especially for a child that has a dog! It seems to have interesting information.
