The Doors

The movie The Doors by Oliver Stone is a very good movie.The special edition DVD comes with two discs.There are several special features that are included with the special edition DVD.Some of the special features are commentary by director Oliver Stone, behind the scene footage, original concert footage and interviews from several of the cast members.

The movie is about Jim Morrison from The Doors.The movie documents Jim Morrison's early beginnings in Venice Beach.The movie tells the story of The Doors early days.How the band stuggled with alcohol and drug abuse, women and the conflict between the band members.The movie ends with the 1972 tragic death of Jim Morrison in Paris.

Before watching this movie I never really understood The Doors or Jim Morrison because it was before my time.I had heard their songs played on the radio but never knew the story behind the band.After I watched the movie the first time I understooda little bit better.I have since watched the movie several other times since learning additional things each time.
