The Eliminator Inexpensive Weed And Grass Killer By dsnygrl on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
We purchased Eliminator Weed and Grass Killer at Walmart. We were looking for something that was inexpensive that we could use to spray weeds and moss that have popped up between some of the pavers and walkways on our property.
This weed killer is a spot treatment that comes premixed in trigger spray bottle. On the label it says it kills over 175 types of weeds and eliminates the roots as well. It also says that it begins working over night and is rainproof in 2 hours.
In the pictures I have included for this review, one picture that was taken prior to us using the spray. There is also a second picture that is of the same area a little over 24 hours later. There was indeed a change and they weeds were beginning to turn yellow and wilt. It took about 3 days before they all looked like they dead. It has been over 2 weeks now since we used the spray and no new weeds have grown in that spot so it seems that it did indeed kill the roots as well.
We used the spray for a small area of concentrated weeds and it worked just as we had hoped. The price was very inexpensive compared to some of the other brands that were out there. I would not hesitate to purchase this again.
Gro Tec Inc. Eliminator Weed and Grass Killer Purchased at: Wal-mart Price: $2.94

Sometimes the more inexpensive weed killers are just fine if you don't insist that the weeds be dead in five minutes! We just seem to need everything to be instant, don't we?
Wow! What a reasonably priced alternative to RoundUp!! Thanks again Kim. I'm going to pick this up, as we have very weedy areas in our long driveway and sidewalk.
Looks like it works. Try vinegar too, its cheaper
I have used this product and it works great. I kind of used it too much. I will fix this next Fall.
Thanks for posting this and I'll use it for next season.
I love your before and after pics. This stuff really works!
We have weeds galore in our area. Will have to buy this product. Thanks for the useful recommendation.
Try vinegar if you're looking for something more natural next time.
It has not even helped with my weeds. I sprayed ones in the cement cracks, and in the road, and 4 days later they are healthy as ever. I put a second application on some of them. No luck. I read on another site that another person had the same problem.
I like the before and after shots with the weeds.
