The Exorcist Iii On Dvd By schimj on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

The Exorcist III on DVD is the second sequel to the classic horror movie The Exorcist. Like the original, this movie was written by William Peter Blatty, who wrote the novels on which both the first and third movies were based. The third installment in the Exorcist franchise is much better than the second, but still not quite as the first. The movie starts with an eerie dream sequence, and has many mysterious and horrific elements. George C. Scott stars in this movie as a detective investigating a series of murders that seem to be connected to the exorcisim of Regan MacNeil several years ago. I really enjoyed this movie, as I did the first installment in the series. I typically like sequels less and less the further they go on, but Exorcist III is the first horror movie I remember liking more than one of its previous sequels.
