This bed has made our life so much easier with our newborn. It is easily portable so I can take it with me downstairs for daytime naps or even just a safe place to lay her down when I need a break. It fits easily in our Queen size bed. We put it in the middle of us and we are able to keep a close eye on our baby while keeping her safe in her own space. The design is functional. The bed has a netted vent along the side walls so baby can breath if they end up burying their face in the wall in their sleep. The bottom has a netted wall and a soft foot at the end. The thin mattress has a machine washable sheet cover that is easily removed. You can fold it up and carry it by a handle. It also has a built in soft nightlite although we never got around to putting batteries in ours. Overall, this is one of the baby accessories we use a LOT.
