First of all, I am not a fan of fiction books, so I was a bit skeptical about reading The Five People You Meet in Heaven, but then, it wasn't as bad as I thought! It is actually a combination of fiction and non-fiction.

The story tells about Eddie, a maintanence person working as a run down, old theme park and one day, while saving a kid, he was killed. Eddie then went to Heaven and meet 5 people he never expect he'll meet.

These five people are people who either has been a huge part of his life, or has a huge impact on his life. It is actually quite an inspiring story, and you totally don't expect him to meet some people he met! In between the stories, there are inset of Eddie's birthdays from young till old, which makes you connect to Eddie even more.

The story really teaches us that the world may be quite big, but we cross through each other's path without even realising it.
