The Fred Factor by Mark Sanborn

After hearing so many good things about this book, I decided to check it out for myself. This book isabout making ordinary things in your life into extraordinary things.

The Fred Factor is written by well-known motivational speaker Mark Sanborn. The inspiration for the book was his mail carrier named Fred. Although Fred was a simple postman, Sanborn uses his excellent customer service as an example forthe rest of the service industry.

The book focuses on a prototype "Fred". Fred is always an ordinary guy going above and beyond his normal duties. This book puts a strong emphasis on doing everything to the best of your abilities everyday.

The book is written in an easy going conversational tone. Unlike other business books, the message is wrapped up in only 112 pages.

Several principles are laid out in the book which aim to help you refocus your attention on becoming a Fred. The book also encourages you to develop others into Fred's.

This book has been a great addition to my home library.
