The Game Of Jenga By JOEY on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

This is a game that the clients play at my job. I work in a day program with the disabled and this has been a very popular activity there. You basically build a tower out of wood blocks and slowly and steadily as you can take them out of different parts of the structure and try and build it higher and higher.

It is not really very easy and some of the clients have difficulty with it but they all have quite a bit of fun and laughter with it. Another company makes a similar game to it and named it tumbling tower. You really learn about fine motor control when you engage in this game.

This game always manages to make its way onto the activity list once or twice during the programs activity weeks. Even the staff have loved this game over the years as many of us get a kick out of seeing how well the clients have done with it. It really appears to help with ones coordination skills. A very challenging and entertaining game for all concerned. I am not sure about the actual price of it but it is an inexpensive game.
