The Garden Fairy Queen By Laurel1 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
If you've read some of my other reviews, especially in the garden area, you'll know I love fairies. Most of the fairies in my garden have solar-powered globes, and are under 12 inches high, but the Fairy Queen, as I call her, is in a class by herself.
I put her near the south side of my house, where she can't easily be seen from the street, because I'm afraid she might be stolen. She is about 2.5 feet high, and made of a ceramic material. I have to bring her in for the winter, because her material could break down in snow. She is a lovely mix of greens, with light hair, and holds a butterfly in her out-stretched hand. She seems to be comfortably seated on a ball or globe, although it doesn't light up. I have her among my echinacea (coneflowers) and her green coloring makes her look like a natural part of the garden.
I don't usually spend a lot of money on garden decor; I don't have gnomes or birdbaths or ponds and fountains, but I love my fairies. I'm also pretty sure they make my flowers grow better. Don't believe me? Add a fairy to your garden and find out!

Hi Laurel! I'm not a fairy fan, but I love gardens, and your theme sounds so well thought out and executed that I'm sure it's beautiful. Good shopping for a ceramic fairy that size (instead of plastic).
She's beautiful and I love the way she is peeking out from the plants, what a nice surprise.
I love fairies as well! She makes a very pretty addition to the garden!
