The Gingerbread Man scrub is listed as an exfolitatingsalt body scrub that heats as you use it. It can be used in the shower or in the tub, but I thought it would be gross to use it in the tub so I used it in the shower. The color is a bit off putting as it is a gingerbready brown, but in the shower the color does not matter so much. The first thing I noticed about this scrub was the fragrance. Or maybe I should say the smell. I can't really describe it, but it's NOT gingerbread. I expected a little bit of spiceness in the scent, but it's not there. You can detect a little bit of ginger but other than that, it's not very pleasant. It smells like somthing my grandfather used to use. The next thing I noticed was that there was no warming when using the scrub. My skin might have gotten warm from the shower but not from this scrub. The exfoliating properties were very good though. My skin was smooth and was not irritated or too dry after using it. The ingredients listed show kelp, algae and bladderwrack extracts. Other than kelp, I'm not sure what the therapuetic qualities are. Plus, these ingredients are some of the last ones listed. Maybe someone else would enjoy the scent but I did not. I will not purchase this item again.

I have this product. My daughter thought she was doing something good by getting me a set of the gingerbread washes. I did not see where it smelled like gingerbread at all. I thought it stunk.
