The Godthumb By PC200X on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The Thumbs series reaches its conclusion with The Godthumb, an obvious parody of the popular Godfather movie trilogy. Come into the seedy underworld of the thumbs as two families are at each other's throats over one not providing financial backing for a ridiculous project involving cubes of meat.

Unfortunately, the movie is kind of a pain to follow if you're not famliar with the source material. I found myself constantly scratching my head wondering what was going on. Still, the movie is about at the same humor level as Frankenthumb, perhaps a little funnier.

Special features are almost at an all time high, save for the lack of an audio commentary this time around. We have the usual storyboards and trailers (though no "coming attractions," as the series is clearly finished at this point), plus hilarious outtakes, interviews, and a "sneak peek" at Electro Robo-Boogie II. Nothing specacular, but neat nonetheless.

The Thumb series goes out with a bang and a whimper. This filmette is decent enough, but still bogged down by a lack of humor and comprehensive plot.
