About 1 year ago I purchased a Hamilton Beach model 33130TC series E3160DJ crockpot and have enjoyed cooking with it ever since. However, I would not reccomend using this appliance to make meals for over 4 people since it only holds about 3 quarts. The crockpot heats quickly, and does a great job of cooking both liquid meals like soup and solid meals like pot roast which is my favorite meal to use this crockpot for.

Although this model comes with a carrying bag and lid fastener for portability, I do not reccomend carrying soup in this crockpot since every time I try to transport soup it sloshes out before the pot gets to the car. The reason for this is that the lid does not attach securely to the pot. The crockpot is simple to clean since the crockbowl lifts out of the heating elements and can be washed just like a regular bowl. The Hamilton Beach crockpot is a good appliance and it is well worth the small problems just to be able to cook with it.
