The Italian Job By Tifffany on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The Italian Job, which came out in 2003, is a remake of the 1969 film of the same name. Some of the stars of this movie are Mark Wahlberg, Charlize Theron, Jason Statham, and Seth Green. This is the story of a meticulously planned heist, where thieves use Mini Coopers to steal a load of gold in traffic. The action sequences were well choreographed and very tense. The story then becomes a tale of revenge, as someone double crosses the gang and the others have to deal with it. Although I am not a big fan of action movies, I found this one to be engrossing and riveting. The action sequences weren't boring, as I often find them, and the violence was very minimal for an action film. That could be because it is based off of an older movie where violence wasn't used as heavily, but in any case it was refreshing not to see blood for the sake of blood. I think this movie is definitely worth a watch.
