So I've had the KODAK ESP 5 AiO for about four months now, and I've had to replace the ink cartridges (both color and black) about 3 times. Sure, they're about $15 dollars each and $21-$24 for both, but doesn't it seem pretty strange that I've had to replace my ink so often?

I have my theories:

1. I am printing far more than I ever did on my old printer. I usually print about 10-20 pages a week. That is far more than the average 1-5 pages I used to print on my old HP printer.

2. The ink cartridges do not have as much ink as my old HP ones. -- This theory, although plausible, is impossible to prove, since I no longer have my old HP printer with it's terribly expensive ink cartridges. So, I won't be able to test or prove this theory.

3. I like the printer so much that I can't help but use it. -- Definitely possible.

All that aside, I absolutely love my Kodak printer. The ink is cheap, which is a definite bonus, and easy to install. It looks beautiful, sleek, and is quite well made, in my opinion. Scanning and copying are a breeze if the right pressure is applied to the object being copied. The small screen can be propped up to see what you're doing and change any settings to fit your needs.

Summing it up:

PROS

Cheap ink

Aesthetically pleasing

Scanning/Copying/Printing Capabilities

Beautiful photo prints

100% Mac and Windows compatible

CONS

Ink runs out fast*

Paper jams easily if paper is loaded wrong

Well, looking at the pros and cons, I find that the pros heavily outweigh the cons. If you're looking for a reliable printer with good quality prints that is still affordable, I recommend you get this product or another one from Kodak's line of printers. I'm sure you'll be surprised and you expectations will be met if not surpassed!
