The Lady Can Cook!!
By Alice onHey Y'all.......that's Paula Deen talking.I just love her to death, she is just such a sweet, beautiful, caring person.Her magazine reflects that in everything that you read, from personal stories, decorating tips for your home and of course, her famous recipes.She is the queen of the cooking channel and I watch her each day.It only made sense that I added a subscription to her magazine to the top of my Christmas list when it first came out.I have every back copy, all read eagerly from cover to cover and filed away, copies taken of my favorite recipes so I don't ruin the book while cooking!Paula's magazine comes out every 2 months plus special Christmas issues and one for holiday baking.My favorite main dish from one of the issues is for Chicken Enchiladas (my mouth is watering just thinking of them!).I get asked to make them all the time at home and for family get togethers.My other all time favorite is a dessert called Gooey Butter Cake, it's sinfully delicious.If you haven't picked up an issue, I urge you do do it now and check it out!!

I also love the Lady:) Bless her heart, she's come a long long way from those very difficult first days. I'm intending to subscribe to her magazine, because I love her down home cooking.
I'm still trying to give up cooking, so I avoid TV shows that obsess about it. But if some of the rest of you keep cooking then there will always be someone there to feed me, right? Have fun in the kitchen.
I have never heard of Paula Deen, but it sounds like an informative cookbook regardless.
Wow, thanks for the information. I love Paula and I had no idea there was a magazine. She is one of the few Foof Network stars who makes real food that everyone can cook at home and make it turn out right. I have a mac n cheese recipe of hers that is to die for. I will be looking for this.
