Socks are such a common article of clothing, I think they are often over looked as inimportant and less than a matter. I disagree with this sterotype thinking though.

A lot of us are on our feet all day and want to be comfortable doing so. Also with socks you have to bring up the fact that the dryer seems to eat them all the time., so they need to be affordable.

My favorite pair of socks are plain joe boxers. They don't have the pizazz and choices of patterns I sometimes like, but they are a very affordable and long lasting sock. Plus, they seem to keep their cushion pretty well and they don't get strethced out real easily like a lot of socks seem to. I buy a pick of these about every six months and that seems to keep me stocked up well enough.
