The Little Book Of Great Aussie Slang By karlawmcdonald on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This cute little book was a gift from my friend from Australia and let me tell you how cute this is! We have laughed and laughed at some of the terms and slang in this book. Most of it my friend says is accurate.

You will find out what " going for a burn" means ( driving fast), brassed off (really annoyed or really angry).

This book is really meant as a joke, or souvenir, but it has helped me figure out a lot of what she says. My husband and I laugh so hard when she tells our dog he is " a cheeky little bugger".

I know she bought it in a shop in Sydney, where she is actually from, but I am pretty certain it can be attained on line, or even on Amazon.com.

This book goes from A to Z and tells you what all of the words and common phrases mean, you will learn a few things and be thoroughly entertained for hours!
