The Little Cellphone That Could By I_am_the_stig on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
If you're a fan of simple yet rock solid cellphones , you simply have to own this little piece of Nokia. Being a worthy successor of the 6030, the new 2610 S40 Nokia series may be the ideal deal for you if you're in search of a simple mobile phone with a good standby and network reception. Being an S40 series phone, this model uses the same software interface as the older 6030. Unfortunately it doesn't also feature the FM radio module and the CSTN display matrix gets washed under direct sunlight due to its low power features. However that also translates into a hefty 6 to 10 days of standby depending on your network. Overall this is one of Nokia's best deals when it comes to simple cellphones. Note that the radio frequency module is dual-band only meaning that you cannot use this phone outside US due to the different frequency used in EU (900mhz EU/850US).
