Ariel, the Little Mermaid wants to know about all things human. Her father tells her to quit going to shore, but she doesn't listen. Sebastian is sent to look after Ariel.

The color in this movie is fabulous. I love the animation with Ursula. I also love the story line. A mermaid who doesn't listen to her father (reminds me of me when I was a teenager). She gets tricked by the villain and is so sure of herself that she is willing to give up her voice. Sounds like a lot of teenagers.

I love that Ariel finds her prince and even though things don't look so good, she doesn't give up. She knows what she wants and goes for it. Who said Princesses are not determined? I also love how the father loves his Ariel unconditionally. A great family movie.
