This little package of writing tablets really impressed me, the paper is heavy and think and very smooth almost to the point of photo paper. The tablet came in various neon colors which is what caught my eye and made my purchase decision. The bright colors make the writing almost stand up off the page. The smooth finish is very easy to write on as the pen flows very smoothly. The finish does allow for some smearing if your not careful with where you place your hands while you write, it seems the finish is so smooth it takes a few seconds for the ink to "sink in". Other than the occasional smear I found these to be much better quality than I would have imagined being a discount type item. I like the Paper Solutions Mini Writing Tablets also because I have yet to encounter in "bleed through" with these heavy sheets of paper.
