The Long Awaited Sequel to Sammy's Hill!

I waited for about 2 years for this book to come out and was eagerly anticipating it's availability.I actually bought this book while in DC and couldn't believe my luck when I found out that the bookstore had signed copies (love signed books).Unfortunately, I did not enjoy this book as much as the first.Perhaps I had unreasonable high expectations after loving the first book but Sammy's Hill seemed a lot cheesier and off the wall compared to their predecessor.Where I found I could relate to a lot of Sammy's thoughts and issues in the first book, this book left me far behind.I reread Sammy's Hill a lot and I have reread this book twice now.It was better the second time.Despite my disapointment, I recommend reading this book simply to find out what happens to Sammy, RG, and her love interest.I still like Kristen Gore as an author and hope she writes more in the future.
