The Miracle Maker Clay Animation Story Of Jesus By Karen on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The Miracle Maker is a movie about the story of Jesus, and what makes it so incredible is that it is done in clay-animation. Ralph Fiennes is the voice of Jesus, Julie Christie is Rachel, Richard E. Grant is John the Baptist, William Hurt is Jairus and Miranda Richardson is Mary Magdalene.

The movie tells the story of a family trying to get help for their ailing daughter. They need the help of Jesus, a carpenter who has amazing healing powers, but the father is torn between wanting to stay loyal to the king and wanting to aid his sick child.

I have the Special Edition, which is loaded with Special Features. Some of these features include a "making of" documentary, audio commentaries, two interactive games, Dolby Digital Audio and more.

The movie is approximately 91 minutes and not rated, but this is something that I think the entire family would enjoy. The clay-animation is just incredible. These characters are so real in their movements and actions.

With Easter approaching, this would make a lovely religious gift, or something nice for an Easter basket. I know I will be watching the movie again. It is truly inspirational, and I highly recommend it.
