The Mother Of All Pregnancy Organizers By Kakoa on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I am currently 3 and a half month pregnant with my first baby. When we told my parents the news, my mom wanted to run out and get me a journal so I could log all my memories in. After looking through many different types, we found this one. I love it! There's so much information and room to write in it!

Pros:

Size- This book is about 5"x6" and about 1" thick. It is perfect because I can easily carry it everywhere I go. I carry a small purse and it even fits in there.

Structure- The cover is made of flexible, laminated, thick paper. I have gotten water on it and it just wipes away without ruining the book. It has a metal spiral binding that holds everything together. This is great because I can fold the whole book in half and work on one page at a time.

Journaling Room- Of all the books I looked at, this one had the most room to write in. It has a section where you can fill in categories and then write whatever you want each week. In addition, there is a section to keep track of all your prenatal and post birth doctor appointments.

There are so many different sections to keep info in, I can't even think of the all right now! I love the "Complaint Department" section. This is a list of the most common complaints and symptoms pregnant women have each month. Also, though I haven't used it yet, there are sections for baby shower gifts and thank yous, important addresses and phone numbers to remember when getting ready to give birth, and a place to track your contractions.

Additional Info- Throughout the book, there are many little blurbs of info and quick tips. There is also a resource guide with lots of helpful info.

Cons:

Journaling list- The only thing I have found, not really a con even, is that the weekly journal entries can get to be repetitive. I find myself filling in the same thing to some of the fill-in areas. Although, it does show me exactly when I started to feel bad, and when I started feeling better.

What a nice gift. It will give you lots of enjoyment as you go through your pregnancy. Just think when the baby is older you can get this out and read to him (or her) so they will know the story of their life from the very beginning!

What a great way to record your memories of your pregnancy - hopefully more good than bad :) I love that there is a complaint dept!

This is a very good way to chronicle each pregnancy Kakoa. If you have more than one child, going back and reading through this journal will comfort and remind you all is well.

This sounds not only like good memories, but well-organized. Keep up your entries and it will be treasured later! Trust me!
