When on vacation a nephew of mine broke my digital camera we went out and bought a new one. After looking through the store and finally deciding on a camera, the GE A730 looked promising. I started to take pictures and found out that it wasn't as good as other digital cameras I've had.

I have an 8 month old infant and when I was taking pictures of him trying to crawl I noticed that the pictures came out fuzzy, so I changed the setting and tried again. Eventually I had to switch to the sport mode, for a baby crawling! The camera finally started to work better but the quality could have been better.

The movie mode on this camera is awesome. You can record over 20 minutes of video and sound. When you play it back, the camera also lets you hear the sound, something my other cameras have never done. I was very happy with this.

Overall I would recommend this camera if you aren't going to be taking pictures of fast action sports. I would recommend it if you like to take short clip videos of the kids or anything else, it does a great job of that!
