Sony has recently announced the launch of the new playstation 3 slim. This model of the playstation 3 is perfect for everyone and it is eco friendly. It boasts a whopping 120GB hard drive which is alot of space to save games and other media. It is about 35% lighter than the original ps3 and is in a more compact shape, so it takes up less space. It consumes less power which equals a cheaper energy bill. Speaking of cheap, Sony has made the Playstation 3 cheaper at a lower price of $299. This is a good deal because you're not only getting a full HD gaming experience, you're getting one of the best blu ray and DVD players out on the market, built in wifi, blootooth support, built in internet browser for real web browsing and more! The system features 2 Usb ports to connect Usb devices, an AV out out port for the main power, one digital audio port, a regular video component port, and an HDMI port. Another cool feature i forgot to mention was the bravia sync, where you could sync the gaming syatem to any Sont Bravia HDTV. This gaming console is what I call the console of the future. All this for $299 is a great buy and this console will last for years to come. Its coming to stores on Sept. 3rd

I love the new Slim. I just wish it was backward-compatible with the ps2 games like some of the previously marketed ps3s were. I still love to play Socom Navy Seals 3 (ps2). Luckily I still have my PS2 so I'm not too worried.
