The New Yorker Futon By Malcolm on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

The New Yorker Futon available at Wal-Mart stores nationwide was quite a surprising find for me. I was out searching for the perfect sofa and stumbled upon this beauty. Made from dark wood and microfiber, I love the futon enough, I bought three!

The New Yorker Futon is more like a couch that does not mind laying down. The cushions are sofa cushions, not the traditional flat futon pad that is sold with futons most often.

Cleaning the futon is a dream, as well. The microfiber fabric does have a tendency to absorb liquids easily, though, so we soon decided to cover our futons.

Even though The New Yorker Futon is made like a couch we had no trouble finding a stretchy futon cover that worked wonderfully.

The New Yorker Futon, great buy at $249.00!
