The Newest Addition In Alarm Clocks. By Katie Piccirillo on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My mom recently sent me this contraption, meant to tell both the time and the weather. Unfortunetly it does neither efficiently. While the warranty promises no programing, it has perpetually been set to military time. The other completely useless feature is the "weather forecaster." Brookstone claims this feature will recognize your geographic location. Unfortuently, normally reads 5 to 10 degrees higher than either the news forecast, internet weathercaster, or common sense. Moreover, the layout makes the screen incredibly hard to read. The screen itself is terribly cluttered. While this, fundamentally seems like a good idea - the product is far too expensive and monumentually impractical. As they say, "there is a sucker born every minute." My mom was that sucker this weekend.
