The Next Grilleration George Foreman Grill By Kat Mitschke on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

While The Next Grilleration George Foreman countertop grill is not a bad grill, if I had to make my purchase over again I would not choose this grill. This small appliance has a nice clean sleek look in black. The cooking surface area is not inadequate (approximately 13 inches by 7 inches) but there several features about this grill that I do not like. First, if you are cooking a steak or another fatty piece of meat, the drip pan is a flimsy canoe shaped piece of plastic that is not attached to the grill. The second feature about this countertop grill that I am not pleased with is there is not a timer at all. I like to be able to set a timer (as with my previous countertop grill) for preheating or cooking. Last but not least, while the grill plates are removable and dishwasher safe, the large plastic handles on both sides of the upper and lower grill plates are not detachable. This makes fitting these into the dishwasher a challenge. The handles make the plates bulky and awkward. This is not an item I would purchase again.
