The Nitendo Wii Fit By Stephen Kelly on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I purchased the Wii Fit in January. It almost lived up to my expectations. The Balance Board is a bit sketchy. It seems too fragile, and won't supposrt weight over 320 Lbs. Luckily, I'm excluded from this discrimination.
The 'activities' that come 'unlocked' with the game, are quite basic. Balancing, push-ups, and basic yoga poses, to start. After several hours of these annoying activities, I managed to unluck some more interesting 'activities', such as sking, ski jumping, and other more exciting events.
Nintendo has released many new, exciting, and innovating features in the world of gaming. With the 2008 Holiday Season release of the Wii Fit, Nintendo hit one out of the park. Not only the Wii console, but their biggest seller, The Fit, couldn't be found on any store shelves, or even on websites like Amazon.com or ebay.com. This product from Nintendo certainly helped the gaming console company make millions in the last quarter of 2008, and the first quarter of 2009, and also is helping many fat kids, lose a few of those extra pounds.

Sometimes I feel like I might fall off of mine too. If you are concentrating on the game and not where you are stepping, you could fall off, which I did a couple of times. But the games are fun even though it's upsetting to see I am overweight and unbalanced. I do love though how it shows you your center of balance and this stays with me even after I stop playing the games. I really think this gaming system is great and definitely gets all of us up off the couch! I do agree though too, about the maximum weight. My husband just makes the weight requirements, but some of my friends to not, so we never recommend playing the Wii Fit to them, unless it's one that doesn't require the board, like the running game. That one is a workout, but I enjoy it.
Hey it does not cost a 160$ it's only 99$ for the bundle, just thought i mite add that. lol
